1.8, more server issues, and Hamachi

So, 1.8 is out, but the server is still down, so the podcast will be delayed, hopefully not for too long. I will actually talk to Whidbey Telecom tomorrow and see what they can do. If all else fails, please look into Hamachi.

The Server Port and Whidbey Tel

I'm trying to get Whidbey Telecom to open up the server port. They say it's open, but when I scan it it says it's closed... They were going to try to trigger it (no idea what that does), but the connection got dropped or something...
Anyway, I'll talk to them again tomorrow, and see what I can dredge up...

There will be a podcast of the lives of the characters starting with the 1.8 update, along with a new world.

Well, the server has been updated to 1.7, but the port has been closed. I need to talk to Whidbey Tel again to open it again... I will try to add the mods on the doc, but i need to actually work on it first. The port should be open in the next couple of days though.

This is how it will be: short posts with general info. This will probably be more complete if I make it very public.

The server is not actually working, I'll post when others can actually connect.

I think I'm using this as a Twitter... Hmmm...

I found out why it's not working: Whidbey Tel said they opened the port (25565) but they didn't AUGH!!! Stupid tech support people... grmblgrmbl...

Welcome to the really bad intro! YAY! :D
This blog will be about my attempts to set up a Minecraft server with hey0's mod and Runecraft. Currently, hMod (hey0's mod) is working but it's being weird about Runecraft. I'm also using Cuboid plugin, but I don't yet know all the features, so more on that later. For now, I have hMod and Cuboid.
